Don't miss this one. Even if you've ignored my other posts you really mustn't ignore this one. You probably won't need to buy any analogue VSTi's again.

These instruments are truly breathtaking - simulations of old analogue gear, with GUIs that look a bit like the real thing (I always like my soft synths to look retro) and amazingly rich sounds. I am staggered that these are being given away for nothing: they are definitely commercial standard, I would have actually paid for this collection if it had been for sale.

Full information on each synth in the package can be found here: http://lesitedeburnie.free.fr/lalistedeburnie7-en.html (this is also a very good round-up of VSTi's generally)

Download link/homepage can be found here: http://elektrostudio.ovh.org/index2.php

If you like the sounds of old analogue synths, and like being able to communicate with a synth using just the front panel controllers and not have to go into 5 sub menus, you'll like this set of synths.

Over and out.

Very Promising

Great, Bmot!

I am going to download those virtual gadgets as soon as I've gotten online again with my rig at home. I have moved to good old Bielefeld again and currently my mobile phone and breaks at work are my only opportunities to connect.

Another thing: Why don't you post things like these as a Blog-Entry. Links and bits of information like this are not really discussion content. In the end, your are not asking any question, are you? Don't worry about the language mix-up, just let your discoveries appear on the starting page through the blog. I am sure, you'll get more comments then. Apart from that I have tried all of your links so far.

Cheers

plugs don't work with vista, when abe scans the plugs lots of: "missing s.th." windows come up. had that too with some other plugs, i think they use some .net or something, that xp has build in, but vista hasn't

but i'm with wound on the blog thing, i don't read the forums that often

Maybe 64-Bit Problem?

I have the same issues. :( My rig runs Vista-64. I wonder, whether it is a Vista or a 32-bit libraries running on 64-bit system problem. Dot-Net shouldn't be so much of a problem though, since that is a Microsoft product. Usually then failing software at least asks for those libraries specifically. The effects might be fantastic, but I'm sorry to say that at least the library binding is poorly written, when there are not even proper error messages and the programs get stuck in a recursive search through a library dependency labyrinth...

Hope, there is going to be a fix soon.

I looked through the forum

I looked through the forum and other people don't seem to have Vista or 64 bit problems so maybe you're just very unlucky. I'll be moving to Windows 7 64 bit soon so am hoping I won't come across too many compatibility issues (and as Live is still only available in 32 bit I don't really anticipate any).
